S. Andrea , with more than 2000 inhabitants consists of two villages : St. Andrea superior and St. Andrea marina . St. Andrea superiore is 330 meters above and 5 km from the Ionian Sea . It overlooks the Gulf of Squillace, and leans against the mountains ( Le Serre ) that extend above 1000 meters altitude .

The village has an old Centre  and many churches and chapels . The main street with some shops and a bar is the meeting place for young and old .
S. Andrea marina is located along the centosei ( 106 ) , the coastal road , and is surrounded by vast orange and olive groves and some vineyards .
The nearest town is Soverato ; it is 13 km away and is twenty minutes by car . The airport at Lamezia Terme is 70 km away and you can be there, thanks to the new highroad, within an hour .
